Exceptional food in a charming spot. The specials menu is exactly that, “special”. Quite possibly the best Italian we had outside Italy!

Ate at Prego at lunchtime on 15 August with husband and two of our friends(plus our Cavapoo)! What a super meal! We all had pasta dishes - mine with crab! Absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive - would definitely recommend! We’re going back next week!

Lovely little café/restaurant. A very good surprise find. The cannolis are killer! Wonderful and friendly service for authentic Italian food. You better book on weekends, its that busy!

Only stopped for a coffee and cake, that were both excellent, really friendly welcome, happy to chat (when time allows) reviews clearly state this is lovely place for a Saturday meal and is very reasonably priced for the area.

We search high and low for places like this. It's very small, so book ahead. Excellent freshly cooked food (Chef/owner cooks each dish in a tiny kitchen at the front of the restaurant in the window!) All products imported from Italy. Would have liked some classic Italian background music, but it didn't matter, the food made up for that. Great selection of homemade cakes for dessert and very good quality, privately imported, wine too. I should have taken more photos without my camera shy, beautiful partner! Anyway, we will definitely be back, and next time, share it with some of our friends.

Me and my friends visited Prego without a reservation, and although they were busy they were really accommodating and squeezed us in. The food was incredible. The 4 of us have all visited Italy numerous times and we all agreed it was the best pasta we've ever had. I had the crab tagliatelle in a white wine sauce, and the crab tastes really fresh. 2 of us got canoli to finish and they were so good that all 4 of us bought more to take home. We'll definitely be returning! Parking: There's free parking on Stockbridge high street. I got a space right outside the restaurant.

Fantastic fresh food always!!!! Home made pasta, all sauces made from scratch cooked front of house, Reasonably priced and the most amazing Italian restaurant around! Certainly not one to miss out on if you are in the area !!!

Meat platter and bruschetta was pleasant as starters. But when pasta arrived, the tomato sauce from the Tortello literally tastes like blended tomato from the can, and the pasta itself is almost tasteless. The bolognese looked tasteless but surprisingly not, because the beef tasted soooo strong that I mistook it as lamb and no tomato sauce could mask it. Couldn’t swallow anymore after two bites. Long wait from ordering the food until it actually arrives as well, given only 1 chef cooking for all customers.

Had a lovely coffee and cake break in Prego and it was lovely with very friendly staff and the cake in the words of my friend was "the best she has had". If we had time we would have gone back for lunch as it looks delicious. Highly recommend a visit 👌
