Good old pub with rooms. Stayed here for one night. Rooms are fine, if you like oldy worldy higedly pigidly rooms. Lots of character, if that what you're looking for. Not my thing, but I gave it 4 stars for what it is.
The pub on the other hand is exactly what I like. I'd give it 5 stars for the pub alone.

What can I say? From the moment we arrived it seemed we were in a bubble, a heavenly bubble of warmth, laughter and cosiness. The creaking of the front door, the smell of the open fire - could have been a film set. But it wasn't, it was genuine hospitality. Bedrooms were lovely and snug, food was great and filling and the beer on tap was fresh. In the mornings breakfast was perfect and set us up well for the day's fishing. Only complaint, we kept banging our heads on the beams! Will come again with my wife next time. We'll done Lucy, you have got it just right!

Friendly staff, great food, great bedrooms!
We stayed for one night as a group to celebrate a friend's birthday. The rooms were excellent, with nice touches such as courtesy jelly beans! The staff were friendly and helpful, with excellent quality beer and great food - both evening meal and breakfast.

Outstanding. A quintessentially old English inn, situated in the centre of this beautiful market town. The staff were exemplary. The decor of the rooms & public areas were stylish & the cleanliness of our gorgeous double room was of the highest standard. We had an evening meal (fish & chips) and a cooked breakfast; our meals were delicious. Indeed the Inn has won a number of culinary awards. & my partner loved the local (Flowerpots?) beer. Our stay was perfect, we highly recommend the Three Cups Inn. So to all at the Inn: Bravo!

Finally made it to this excellent pub for a Sunday lunch; the best I have eaten in a long while. Roast sirloin of beef for my partner & delicious moist roast chicken breast for myself. All accompanied by generous portions of seven different fresh vegetables ! Our two favourite beers from the Flower Pots Brewery were on tap as well. We couldn't have asked for more. We will be back with others very soon as the word will spread.....

Lovely garden and friendly staff. Food a let down. Had a burger and the meat inside was raw , I asked if it could be cooked a little more so it wasnt raw. Waited a while for the same meal to come back by which time my husband had eaten his meal. When returned it had just been heated up . Now was haed and dry abd the cheese was welded onto the burger.
When asked food was alright I said no and the staff just said 'sorry about that'.
Not much of a genuine apology or any offer to make it alright.
Nice place for a drink but dont bother with the food
